What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. While compiling, some string value get "Multiple substitutions specified in
non-positional format" errors
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SDK 2.3
Please provide any additional information below.

should add "n$" right after the '%' character
ex.
<string name="msgYouHaveASTS">You have %1$d appointment(s)\n..and %2$d
task(s)</string>
