Schema revised Nucleus is a 6 um circle with a 1 um nucleolus center, inside of the nucleus filled with nucleoplasm, outside filled with cytoplasm.
Near the edge is 1 um heterochromatin domain tiles containing 100nm heterochromatin tiles. Randomly scattered throughout are 1 um euchromatin domain tiles containing 100 nm euchromatin tiles.
100nm heterochromatin is made of a 3-tile wide string of 10nm nucleosomes. 100nm euchromatin is made of a 1-tile wide string of alternating nucleosomes and linker DNA.
10nm nucleosomes are made of the 2 nm-wide DNA chains that already exist in a loop around the edge surrounding histones.
Schema proposal: Nucleus is a 6 um circle with a 1 um nucleolus center, inside filled with nucleoplasm, outside filled with cytoplasm. Near the edge is 1 um chromatin tiles containing 100nm chromatin chain tiles (representing loose wiggly DNA). 100nm chromatin is made of 10nm nucleosomes. 10nm nucleosomes are made of the 1nm DNA you already have.
