The usage of this command is clear. However, the purpose of this command is unclear. Like what I can I do with the selected contacts?

Purpose of the command was mentioned here which is right under the select and unselect commands.

Reason for disagreement: It would have been clearer to the readers if it was under the select command info as well as the users are not going to read the whole UG to figure that out. However, this could be a very low severity bug.
