I'm making a resource pack for a resource pack. I want to make it so CIT resource pack for books also includes enchantment levels above vanilla limits for mods like Apotheosis. However, I'm not copying textures from the original pack, I want to make it so the base pack is still required to give credit to the original author. What I did is created an empty pack and then copied all /optifine/cit files.
The issue is that cit description file doesn't use textures from the original pack. If I copy textures to my pack, everything works.
I already checked and the same pack configuration with cross refencing works fine with CIT Resewn and Optifine - it is only the issue with CIT Reforged
