We need a job board for the startups that are hiring. #12

I completely agree. @tjweigel and I plan to ship this at some point in march. I will publish the branch as soon as we get some foundation setup.

What are the needs for such a job board? could available positions also be added via pull request or does there need to be a more dynamic CMS for job postings? I'd like to help with something like this but I've been curious what the most usable way to manage it for multiple companies would be.

A CMS would make sense for manager-types to get jobs posted.

I guess my question then becomes would access be granted to manager types at every company in Chattanooga that might want to post jobs? Also, the site is currently hosted by github, we'd need to move it to heroku or similar in order to give it a database backend to support a CMS (unless someone knows of a hosted cms solution that could be dropped in with javascript or something?)

Hey guys,

Thanks for your comments here. @tjweigel and I have had a little more work on our plates than we thought we would. With that being said, this is still a priority. Im shipping a new update to nooga startups this week and then we will probably get started on the job board.

Im planning on building (or forking) a CMS for it. I was planning on hosting it privately, but I will make the code available on Github. I was planning on writing it in PHP, I hope that doesnt make anyone cry
