Sometimes, the meal description already includes the side dish. It could be possible to filter out the side dish in the main meal title and only display the actual main meal. Example:

Vegetarisch 2.20€ - / 9.0 Veganes Sojaschnitzel | Miso-Aioli | Frisèesalat | Veganem Kartoffelstampf oder Paprikareis 🌱

[...]

Hauptbeilagen Paprikareis oder Kartoffelpüree

I think they only added the side dishes to the main meal since the mashed potatoes are vegan only for the vegetarian meal but not the classics for example. In any way, I think that we should never modify the display name as to not cause any confusion whether the meal displayed by us really is the meal displayed in the canteen. If they decide to name the meal this way, so be it.
