This not in scope for v2.1, as the current features are sufficient. There is also a lack of convincing justification as to why the omission of this functionality is problematic.

It is non-trivial to allow multiple units and have the app understand that 1000g = 1kg. Implementing it would be difficult and complex as it may require the user to specify the conversions.
