2.9R6 Arming problem with 3DR radio #40

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start up Crius AIO v1 with 3DR radio on serial3 and CRIUSGPS on serial2
2.start the MissionPlanner 1.2.36 and succesfully start the MAVlink
3.trying to arm/disarm with radio or MissioPlanner buttons

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm expected to arm/disarm the quad, but the CriusAIOv1 leds stop blinking,
they go off, and I need to unplug the battery to restart everything.

What version of the MegaPirateNG are you using?
2.9 R6

Please provide any additional information below.
If I remove the 3DR radio and connect the MAVlink with the USB cable everything
works fine.
The 3DR module is from RcTimer.com, firmware version "SiK 1.6 on HM-TRP", (baud
57600)

same problem with 2.8r3. (power on -> reset eeprom -> setup radio/accell
through USB -> get a valid mavLink connection through 3DR -> real time data
visualization succefully -> try to arm the quad -> software crash -> status
leds off -> I can't do anything, only remove the battery)

I can notice that the mavLink connection stop sending a lot of data, and It
seems sending just periodically heartbeats.

Solved,
3DR module made a lot of noise on the power line, adding an aux power source
solved the problem.
Seems that I2C line was disturbed by such noise.
