Player names not appearing correctly; Clubs not detected correctly; Players not actually in game

Firstly, just to say thank you for producing MacAssistant - I am amazed by the skill of anyone who can do something like this so quickly, and to do so for the love of it is fantastic! MacAssistant is working OK for me, but has started picking up a few odd bugs:

1. I am starting to lose parts of names when searching. Some players now appear on MacAssistant as "- - - Sanogo" or "Stefan - - -" (and occasionally even "- - - - - -").
2. It has also started wrongly assigning clubs for some people (all regens I think). Lots of new players are detected as being at Agro-2 Chisinau, rather than their actual club.
3. The programme also sometimes seems to detect players that aren't actually in the game. When searching on PA it identifies a number of very good young players at some larger clubs, but they do not actually exist when one searches for them in the game. Similarly, when I search for my team (Hereford United) it lists a number of players with CA of 1 who do not exist in the game.

I just did a quick check at your save, and it looks like all data loaded by MacAssistant RT is fine. Can you please:

• Give me your exact FM version number (you'll find it in the FM menu > Game Status)
• Make sure you are not loading or doing any actions inside the game while MacAssistant RT is loading data

I'll leave this case open for now. Let me know when you can check these, thanks

im having the same problem. Some young players can't be found in the game.

I don't see anything wrong with what you've posted here. You're basically searching for free agents (players without any kind of contract) that have a current ability of 140 or more. It makes sense that you only get 2 results with a small database loaded. Try lowering the CA or looking for players that also have expired contracts (they are technically free agents as well, but they are still in a club) Your diagnostics look perfectly fine as well. The values the diagnostic search is looking for are hard-coded by me, there is a great chance that these objects I'm looking for exist in your game, no matter what leagues you chose.

Thank you for the update! I started having exactly the same issue again (player's names coming up as "- - -" and some clubs being wrongly assigned) but I think I may have identified the problem. I think it comes when I have reloaded FM - in other words if I have used 'Quit to start screen' and then reloaded the same game. I'm guessing that this might be something to do with some sort of residual memory confusing MacAssistant, but just to let you know that seems to be when the issue occurs and fully quitting and re-starting FM appears to resolve it!

I'm seeing this issue too but I'm starting to think it is an FM problem. If I manually click through the teams and view squads I can then find the players and scout them.
