The official name of the app Eclipse IDE

Is there a supported version available on a stable release channel? No

It looks there is an Early Access build of Eclipse for Apple Silicon https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=565690#c28

Is "Eclipse" different from "Eclipse IDE" similar to how Visual Studio is different from VS Code?

I checked and it looks like v4.20 is also native

Both SDK and IDE are native supported now.
