10 years ago 1) You can put in whatever value you like here, even 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... If you do though, it will limit our ability to interact with the user at a later date. 2) Pairings now print out with Name (handle) in the next build
Right now use of the application is predicated on someone having a forum name. Many players don't have a PP forum handle and that seems to be the primary identifier used. I would suggest a couple of changes with regard to this:
1) Make them optional for the registration screen. Use the real name instead, even common names can have numbers added to them to avoid exact duplicate. 2) Use real names instead of PP forum names when displaying pairings. When TOs announce pairings, some of us do it verbally and announcing forum names or worse, email addresses, publicly is silly and possibly a violation of privacy.
