My game keeps crashing sometimes when I enter the aether in 1.7.10 and when I load my world after crashing the 1st time it happened. My game goes back to normal after a few to several crashes and I can experience the aether just fine but it keeps on happening. I went into the crash reports and it said it was caused by "at com.gildedgames.the_aether.entities.passive.mountable.EntityParachute.writeSpawnData(EntityParachute.java:153)". I have like 12-13 other mods installed in 1.7.10.
