Proposed - Lesson 2 - How is GitHub Used Around Catalyst

This lesson is a more practical survey of the ways in which different Catalysts projects are using GitHub for coordinating effort and managing contribution to projects. Also looking at some of the templates and structures that can be used to help community members easily manage reporting and oversight requirements for funded projects.

Key outcomes:

• Learners are exposed to a diverse set of Catalyst Community projects that are using GitHub and are able to see how they could contribute or participate.
• Learners are beginning to see patterns of how Issues, Templates, Pull Requests, Projects can be used to help coordinate assynchronous contributions
• Learners have become familiar with the mechanics of Responding to Issues, adding files, editing content (submitting Pull Requests) and generally contributing to other projects
