F8 Slides
Caue and Seomon will set up Slides for F8
improve 1 to 1 support session process (automate, email)
need to automate the process:
Lucio: provide window where we teach and students choose which one works for them.
This mechanism could be used for normal workshops as well.
Victor: should also translate the Form in different languages for 1to1 sessions.
Jonah: we could use this maybe - https://github.com/calendso/calendso
Open Source Training
3 possible lessions:
1) Markdown / Open Source / GitHub Introduction
2) GitHub Deep Dive
3) Using GitBook to manage a Catalyst Project
complementary exercises during the lessons:
Little bit of editing;
Research a topic, and update a repo.
glossary for jargon within the community
get lessons out early february for some early birds.
Build a lesson document collectively something he did at opencarpentry the organisation Jonah is at right now.
If the courses are going to be built on gitbook they can be integrated onto the website.
we do lesson-development for the community to take the content and teach it to others
Ada price fell so we take a cut in our pay unfortunately.
Victor shows and explains the current idea for distribution of money, up for change.
Simon: would take compensation in Ada, should pay out in $ for external next time
Lucio: should also pay them in Ada
Stephen: should pay out into a stablecoin at the date of distribution because some people rely on it, also we don't want people to lose motivation due to inventives.
