Alert using Notificaition Doctype (Raven as Channel) #589

Hello @nikkothari22 ,

As we want to send notification for any events on doctype so we want to use Raven but how to send alert on raven using Notification feature in frappe or any plan to add Channel as Raven in future?

Short of https://github.com/The-Commit-Company/Raven/issues/585 we d be very interested in this, too. Crucially, we have road warriors (delivery employees) who would need to receive push notifications of incoming delivery trips.

Already in the plan :)

I tried building this but realized that a few things need to change in the Frappe framework itself to support custom apps adding custom notification types. I think Hussain has already filed an issue on the Frappe repository.
