Ubuntu 11.04 fail #22

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.will not load or run in Ubuntu 11.04 
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
will install but not work at all

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.54 or 0.57

Please provide any additional information below.
This worked fine until Ubuntu decided you should have 11.04. I was using 10.40 
and worked with it

Could be a duplicate, install libglib2.0-dev
