I'm just testing SkyCam on Ubuntu 13.04 32Bits and all seems to work well.
Can you provide more detailed infos about your issue?
32 or 64 bit system?
Skype version?
Have you installed all required dependencies?
Once you activate SkyCam, you also have to start the "WCStudio Device" to have
the stream on /dev/video21.
Are you sure to point to /dev/video21 device in Skype options?

Thanks.

Thank you very much for answering!

Well I have Ubuntu 13.04 32 bit and SKype 4.2. If I check the WcStudio Device
option, SkyCam option unchecks and vice-versa. But even if I check the WcStudio
Device option and /dev/video21 appears on SKype, video won't show. It doesn't
show on any option. Attached a photo as an example. In relation to the required
dependencies I'm not sure. Which dependencies are those? Thanks.

Hi,
 try those steps:

First of all make sure Skype is completely closed and if not quit it.

1) Run WS
2) Push "SkyCam" button and enter password when requested.(This Activate the
/dev/video21)
3) Leave v4l2loopback unchecked.(Check this only if you don't have "WCStudio
video device" module, and you have it)
4) Push "FlipSkyCam" to enable horizontal flipping (This is necessary for Skype)
5) Push "WCStudio video device" (In this way you redirect "WCStudio video
device" to /dev/video21)
6) Play a stream.
7) Run Skype.
8) Check /dev/video21 output in Skype options.
9) To safely deactivate SkyCam you have to quit Skype first, stop "WCStudio
video device" clicking on it and finally stop SkyCam clicking on it and giving
required password. You will notice that /dev/video21 is gone.

In other words, a new /dev/video21 is created.
Once pushed the default "WCStudio video device" /dev/videox is piped into
/dev/video21.
Finally you have two VirtualCams playing, but only /dev/video21 is seen from
Skype.

Thanks for the feedback.
