I am using Metal2, Metal3, Metal4 and Metal5 for routing. I want to utilize these metal layers the same amount. For that I reduced layer utilization in fastroute properly. Metal2 has highest reduction and Metal 5 has lowest reduction. However, when I run TritonRoute it does not take this into account and try to put connections at lower levels. It also tries to minimize number of vias. Therefore, it takes at least 60 iterations and finishes with unclean layout. Is it possible to relax via cost, so TritonRoute will utilize higher metal layers and finishes quickly with a clean layout.
