Set <'Super'> as Menu button Shortcut Key #63

Now, we can set F1-F12 keys to open Menu, can be improved to set button combinations (as Ctrl+2 for example) or other keys ('Super' Key will be awesome)?

Thanks

+1 for Super key, I'm used to use it to start new apps or run commands. Could really replace the default behaviour

Oh yeah. I dislike the default gnome behaviour for the super key, this would be awesome.

I came here to say this. I'm unable to change the setting from F2 on my computer, as the setting editor doesn't accept any keystrokes except plain letters (which obviously make no sense -- I'm not going to set the 'm' to be my menu shortcut) and dconf.editor claims there is no schema for the keybinding if I set it manually.

I much prefer having the meta/super key as the shortcut for my menu. Until that changes, I think I'll just be moving my cursor manually.
