Gnomenu fully locks up system #96

Using most current version. I went to configuration, switched from normal view to compact view and back again.

Lockup requiring a reboot.

Reverting to previous version (my backup version).

Have you tried the version from Github

I just installed the github version. Crashing test shows crashing has stopped. However there is a new nuisance factor for me. The apps button with/without icon takes up too much panel space. Why can't the apps icon be as snug as the extension version which is more esthetic and does not waste panel space. (I use icons only and only without text).
