Environment:

OS: MacOS 14.2.1 Winery version: 1.8.4 Master Wrapper version: Wineskin-2.9.2.0 Engine version: all version Hardware: Mac mini M2 Application/Game Name: all game Describe the bug the source audio in winecfg change sometimes after a reboot on my Mac. I have two audio card (one 5.1 and one stereo). winecfg save the ID of the source but not the name. Mac OS change the ID because sometimes it detect in first the audio output stereo.

To Reproduce select a specific output source and reboot your Mac many times

Expected behavior save the name of the source not the ID (the name don't change after reboot ;)

tks

In winecfg there’s an option called system default audio device?, select that instead and just make sure macOS is the desired audio device before launching.

Tks for your answer. I probably expressed myself badly. Your solution is exactly what I'm doing, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Example : Monday I configure the default output on the 2nd item in the list: living room speaker. I launch the game and everything is ok. The Mac stays on. Tuesday I launch the game and see that everything works fine. I restart the mac. Wednesday I launched the game and the sound switched to bedroom speaker. winecfg does not systematically keep the same order because in the list living room speaker is in 3rd position and no longer in 2nd. And so it charges bedroom speaker.
