Enhancement suggestion:
How about volume slide up/down and pan left/right commands for volume and pan
columns respectively? Just to suggest one implementation, for volume you could
use +/- signs and panning L/R letters.
So f.ex. with the starting volume at 30h, typing a command +4 would increment
the volume to 34h. For panning (pan set to center), doing L9 would equal going
from 40 to 31 on the panning column. Randomize could be simply 'RN' on either
column.
I know this is a bit of a double feature and can be worked around by adding
command columns. However, if you'd like to do very short loops using the 06xx
command, being able to inc/dec (or randomize) volume + pan values would free up
the command row(s) for something else.
These features would save up on adding command colums and allow creating fade
in/out with a very small loop row height
