Multiple choice polls not voting correctly #67

Open chenew opened 1 year ago

chenew commented 1 year ago

Describe the bug Multiple choice poll only votes as a single answer.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Search for Cliff Wade’s post with a multiple choice poll on which operating systems people use on their computers: https://allthingstech.social/@cliffwade/110033193072153264
  2. Select one of the choices.
  3. It will submit the vote as a single choice.

Expected behavior Since this is a multiple choice poll, expected to be able to select one or more choices before casting the vote.

Selecting one choice submits the vote as a single answer: 1E0AD497-68D0-41C2-8A62-86A1535830C0

By comparison, this is the same poll in a web browser that supports multiple answers: 37B35B6E-16AB-4651-9387-CC5EEE992EDA

Interesting bug. I would like to add that although multiple votes are possible by selecting your additional answer options after selecting the first one, this doesn't seem to be the desired behavior of such a feature. I've logged this issue in Mammoth's internal issue tracker, thanks for submitting.

@NathanRLiu Here’s another example of a multiple choice poll that Mammoth votes as a single choice: https://mementomori.social/@rolle/110123239213148012
