Inline translation rather than a popup also a quick button (under the toot) no need for two action (… -> translate)

Thanks for the feedback. We've gotten similar requests before and this is currently on our checklist of things to do, I've made a note in our internal issue tracker based on your feedback that this is a popular item (e.g. a lot of people want this change added) and hopefully we get a more direct way to translate posts in an upcoming release.
