arecord hangs in Ubuntu 15.04 #12

It seems there is an issue with arecord in Ubuntu 15.04. I just wrote https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1473649. I need to check whether this can be fixed or whether I need to modify the measurement functionality. At the moment measurement seems not to work for Ubuntu 15.04.

its an alsa-utils bug. In 15.04 for now it can be fixed by manually upgrading to als-utils 1.0.29 .
