4 years ago I've found a kludge for this (not a fix, but it works) I restored NEI's functionality by removing the suite of Tinkers' Construct related mods i had, including the root mod Tinkers' Construct. That fixed it. I'm gonna try to insert them one by one once I've installed all the other mods i wanted to see where it went wrong. honestly, a lot of the mods dependent on Tinkers' Construct were a little rough, so it's probably a conflict between one of the side mods and NEI.
Just a quick couple of questions - Has there ever been a case where NEI doesn't have weather, time and Creative + / Adventure mode functionality when downloaded? If so, what's been the usual fix for it? See, I have NEI 1.0.5.120 (yes, I'm on 1.7.10, but that whole project is dead so I'm looking for answers here) and I basically got half a mod. I'll bring over the relevant logs for anyone who wants to take a look, and again I'm sorry that I'm asking for help on a "Dead Version," but I feel like I shouldn't be locked out of playing a version of MC that I've been wanting to play just because of config issues. Which I'm actually pretty confident it is...I just don't know what the proper configs are.
