How to determine camera model and support for specific camera #90

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what the model numbers that are listed represent. I'm guessing that they are the first 4 digits of the serial number listed on the back of the camera, but I'm not certain since there is nothing that explicitly states this. Can somebody confirm that this is the case?

Secondly: I have a couple Yi Home 1080p camera models, numbers on the back of the cameras begin with 6FUS and 48US. How can I tell the difference between the V1 (generic), V2 (no specific models listed) and the unversioned model? I'm guessing that my 6FUS one is the unversioned one since 6FUS is the beginning of the number on the back. Any idea what the 48US model is?

I'm no expert by any means. And I don't know that I can fully answer your questions, but I did recently have a similar question myself. The whole 6FUS or what have you, those are the DID numbers. You can find them on the back of the retail box. I read somewhere they might also be under the QR code on the base of the camera? Though I haven't confirmed this to be the case. I was so confused trying to flash V4 on my camera when I realized my DID number was one that actually was for an MStar chipset. (Which, from what I gather are newer models????) Not sure if any of that helps, but thought I'd throw it out there.
