Not working with android #23

Closed TurtleEd closed 3 years ago

TurtleEd commented 3 years ago

Ever since yesterday (5/27), I have noticed that ankimote no longer works with my phone (samsung s8+). After scanning the QR code with my phone, the webpage pops up but it cannot load the proper page.

I tried using my friend's iphone and it worked fine.

Could you fix this issue? Or is there an alternative method for androids to use ankimote now?

Thank you!

The problem probably isn’t an Android vs iPhone problem. Check to make sure your phone isn’t on VPN, that your phone and computer are on the same WiFi network, and also try clearing the browser history and cache on your phone. Might also be worth it to try a different browser on the phone. Good luck! On May 28, 2021, 6:09 PM -0400, TurtleEd @.***>, wrote:

update: I turned off my firewall for mcafee and it started working again.

Do you have any advice on how to allow exceptions for ankimote through mcafee firewall?
