@MersingerN @jrwds @zhou1489 I'm interesting in your feedback on my first attempt at a skills roadmap. My goal with these is to tie together different content for students to follow. My first one here is on ACCESS/Anvil. The content I added can be found at:

starter-guides -> anvil -> anvil-setup-roadmap starter-guides -> tools-and-standards -> jupyter

I think a definitive template would be helpful here. Per the Anvil Setup page, there seem to be 2 things we want at the top of each page: 1) the learning objectives for that page and 2) the amount of time it takes to complete it. A standardized template here might help students navigate these pages, if they all look more or less the same.

The Jupyter page has a lot of good content (much of which I wrote previously) but it needs a reorganization to make it more readable, perhaps the standardized template could help here.

There is also a challenging question about when to make a new page vs. adding a section on to an old page.

@jrwds Thanks for the feedback! I like the template idea and I put something preliminary out here: https://the-examples-book.com/internal/main/ds_team/skills-roadmap-template for TDM's reference. I like the Jupyter page as well. I think it's a great reference for students as they get more familiar with the tool.

I also agree with your question about when to make a new page vs. adding to the old. I could see the skills roadmap's leveraging the content pages similar to how the projects do. Each tool or idea page is tied together by either a project or a skills roadmap. I'm sure we'll have to discuss more as things continue to evolve.
