Should the Dutch revolt and take the Burgundian colonial empire before Burgundy has had a chance to consolidate south africa, it might make some sense to give the republics an option to join back up with the mother country (especially since the Dutch start with Geus as accepted) and/or to have access to a similar event chain of consolidating south africa.

I doubt the Boer would happily rejoin the Netherlands. Especially since both of the options after the Dutch Revolt are either a monarchy or a corporate dictatorship.

However, I might provide reconquest decisions for the Dutch if any Boer Republics still exist at some point. Just watch this space.
