Should run such that this gets set up automatically, if the user first adds a roadnetwork from the "add node" menu
We should try and perform this setup only when first adding to the scene. Ways to do this:
a. Check if either/or [segments, points] already set up; if so, leave alone (even if one of those is now missing).
b. "private" export var, which is "initialized"
