Wired Grabber not working #55

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create two doors, one with a Wired Grabber and a Wired Button (0-1,
toggle) welded to it.
2. Wire the button to the Grab input.
3. Move the grabber over the other door and turn the button on.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Wired Grabber should grab the other door, allowing the two doors to be
moved together. Instead, the grabber does not grab the other door.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
(Seemingly) all versions up to r350 on Windows NT and Vista

Please provide any additional information below.
Wiremod version 0.9.6

This bug includes uh
Door mod
Wire mod

If you do something with wire mod and door mod it bugs up.

You should know that this is a site to report bugs for DarkRP. Not for Door
mod, nor
for wire mod.

What does this have to do with DarkRP?

The servers I tested this on did not have Door mod, only Wiremod. The issue
only
happened when DarkRP was on. If the sandbox gamemode was on, the grabber works
fine.
Therefore, it's something with DarkRP causing this. Whether it's in the coding
of
DarkRP or Wiremod, I don't know. I'm not the programmer.

DarkRP doesn't do shit with the wire grabber...

Oh, wow, yea that convinced me...

But, no. Seeing how the grabber is screwed up on all servers running DarkRP,
and
works fine on Sandbox on those same servers, the common variable is DarkRP.
Therefore, its DarkRP. Im going to put in a bug report with Wiremod directly
just in
case, but like I said...
