Also, a scripted sequence type of system would be nice too, though I bet a lot 
of work. Maybe try to port it from RTCW.

If your going update the scripting don't forget to take a look at Enemy 
Territory - it came out after RTCW and has more flexibility and features than 
RTCW's.

The source code for both games was released at the same time and are usually 
downloadable at id's website.
