Idk about you guys but this is like a downgrade from the original imagus for me. (save html instead of image png/jpg) #46

When I hover over an image or image link and it displays a preview of full image, then Ctrl + S, the original imagus could save the actual image file, but this mod just tries to save html. Absolute wtf moment. Plus it still can't download from pixiv, only the lower-res preview but not the original full image. Also tried on links linking to image posts from pixiv. Theres a small camera button which when I click on it it shows the low-res preview image, instead of the original full image, which is no different from the original imagus.

I must be missing something here...

Apparently pixiv changed something so download by hotkey doesn't work. Other than that what issues are you having? What small camera button? What website are you having issues on, what browser and version of imagus mod are you using? Is your sieves updated?

The small camera button is a small icon representing a camera that is on the right of the link (or hyperlink) of a webpage which has an image that Imagus can download image from, it seems. This icon only appears next to the link/ hyperlink when Imagus extension is installed onto the browser.

The website I'm having issue on... uhh... So basically it seems to happen to EVERY image I try to save, the Imagus mod will attempt to save the html instead of png/ jpg like the original Imagus. What I do is hovering the cursor over an image, it displays the full image version, right ? Then Ctrl + S. It creates a pop-up asking me the directory to save, that's where I can see what type of file I'm saving (html or image).

Pixiv is a website which neither the original nor the modded Imagus work. Both can only download the lower quality preview version, and not the original quality. My browser is Coccoc, which is based on Chrome.

Version of Imagus... I just downloaded the latest version at the point I wrote that issue.

Sieves... I didn't change or update anything. They're like what they're originally

Sorry forgot the most important part, in shortcuts tab there's a checkbox that say click to request permission to download. For pixiv the download would fail but it should show high res, if not try updating the sieves(double down arrow in the sieves tab)

This is a known problem. Pixiv does not allow you to save the picture by hotkey, at least in chromium browsers (perhaps this works in FF). But it is possible to save via the context menu and via the "save by dragging" gesture (this is in my Cent).

As for the image quality, IM has nothing to do with it, it's probably problems with the sieve itself. You can make a message about this (be sure to provide it with links to specific examples on the site) in the group Imagus Reddit.

I have always used the imagus from the chrome store and I don't think I miss anything

if you have nothing to hide then put it up on the chrome store.
