First and foremost, you need to disconnect the screen before you flash the klipper bin and you cannot use it after it is installed

Hello Feral, There is no way to update it. and I don't understand why. I even compiled the firmware myself but nothing. This is my check usb serial printer.txt
and this is printer.cfg
What am I doing wrong? Beppe
Did you uninstall the brltty service?

Sorry, the problem was the SD card. I used an 8GB one and everything was OK. Now I've done all the calibration, and it remains for me to fix the Z axis. I use Orca Slicer and I think I have to set the right position on the start G-code with the G92 command, or am I wrong?
I am curious if you know of any efforts to use the Elegoo screens? I'd be willing to contribute to those efforts. They're pretty neat hardware, and I'd hate to just put them in the junk bin. Thanks!
BTW, because I didn't see it anywhere else, I'd like to mention that I assume the board uses a UART to USB chip for comms, which means you won't get the typical serialized USB ID that you get with other Klipper installations. My printer is communicating with that generic looking USB device path.
There's a project on a Chinese GitHub clone that started doing one... How's your python? I think a module that talks to the uart pins of the gpio would be a start. I don't think you can make it work via the uart phone jack on the actual mcu, i think it has to get filtered through moonraker

Do you happen to know where? I've dabbled with the screen's UART interface during the last few days and it should be easy enough to get basic functionality working, but if there is already existing work out there, might as well build on top of that insead of reinventing the wheel.
Edit: Nevermind, I've found some (English) repositories and some peeps in the Elegoo Discord server trying to reimplement the screen communication themselves, so that should be a good start!
Edit2: For others reading this post, OpenNept4une appears to contain the most actively maintained version of a display driver; it's intended for the Neptune 4 series and not the 3 (or 2), but it shouldn't be too hard to adapt to the 3/2 series (you could also flash the .tft of the 4 onto your display, given it's the same hardware, but it still issues some commands that are only availalbe in the Klipper config of the 4 as of now).
