There is no setup.py script. This prevents from setup with pip or 
easy_install.

I have also run into this issue. I am developing a payment system for Python 
and would like to use this instead of creating my own version of it, but that 
will not be possible if I can't automate the installation of it via pip. :(

setup.py is just waiting approval from the original project author and will 
hopefully make it into the repository in the next few days.
