Applying Texture files to Assets #1096

When applying textures to assets created with multiple meshes, you can choose which mesh to apply the texture to via a dropdown menu. Whilst this is all well and good, often with a store bought model, or freely downloaded model, the meshes are represented by number rather than a description.

What would be useful is that when a particular mesh is selected, it was highlighted in some fashion, similar to that used when selecting a model in the editor, where it is surrounded in a yellow glow. In this way, you would be able to clearly see which element of the model you are applying the texture files to. Whilst the current means works, once you have applied a texture file, at present there there is no means to remove it once applied without cancelling the import and starting again. Having a means of highlighting the selected mesh, would mean that this would no longer be an issue.

Thank you for your consideration

It would be nice as well, that GGMax select all the meshes sharing the same material (if any)
