I don't know if they are aware that this occurs when only one cable is used, they should know if it is their profession so it certainly can't hurt to notify them of this. :) I dont know how many drives and fan's you have in your system but your current PSU might also be a bit to light because 50's still seem to low in my view. Another important part of system configuration is that the memory modules are in the right slots so that the system is running dual channel. I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB of Graphics memory, 16 RAM system memory, however I am lucky to get 30 fps best and around 20 fps lowest. I don't look to have a problem in other apps, though I don't really play games. I am a 3D animator and don't look to have problems with those apps I use.
