Greatings Dev i solve my problem already i make a fix to work with me hehe i rename AMDFIX.ini to NOAMDFIX.ini and delete dx11.dll and dxgi.dll and works again well with my RX 6600 8GB but something wrong because now the app opens and get only now black screen. ???
I think is something about ini file wrong
This is an issue related to certain AMD cards. It could be that a fix for your card wasn't applied.
@Labsdj I have added some debug code to the next EXP build and it will deposit extra info into "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\GameGuruApps\GameGuruMAX\Guru-MapEditor.log". When you get the next EXP build, can you run MAX and then attach the LOG file that gets produced, thanks!

The LOG file you showed above seems to be dated the 19th (yesterday):
This suggests it is an old LOG file and not the latest one generated by the latest EXP build. Can you rename the "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\GameGuruApps\GameGuruMAX" folder to "C:\Users\leeba\Documents\GameGuruApps\GameGuruMAX-BACKUP" and then relaunch MAX and see if a new "C:\Users\leeba\Documents\GameGuruApps\GameGuruMAX" folder is created?
Not create anymore i formated already a hour ago and same thing. I rename the folder and nothing append. I cannot understand so many tries i formated all system pc all disks and nothing change this bug i got.

@Labsdj Noticed another thing, you seem to have the writables folder for GameGuru MAX ""INSIDE"" your OneDrive!!
You cannot have this folder inside your OneDrive as it will try to sync/change the files on its own account. Best to have the writables folder in a simple local folder inside your LOCAL documents folder, i.e.
NOT "C:\Users\xxx\OneDrive\Documents\GameGuruApps\GameGuruMAX"
INSTEAD USE "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\GameGuruApps\GameGuruMAX"

The folder was never recreated after last night when I started reporting the bug I have. I even formatted the pc this afternoon, the error remains, I even removed it to the onedrive and even so it stayed the same without any change. I'm freaking out about this bug, I don't know what it is. All my games and apps work fine. Only GameGuru Max has this error. However, on Linux, GameGuru Max works well. I've even made all possible guides available on steam and it still keeps the error.
Then I also renamed the amdfix.ini file to noamdfix.ini and deleted the dlls dx11.dll and the dxgi.dll the program opens I try to open a sample game and the screen goes dark. Then I put GameGuru Max back in as it came from the start, that is, I delete the folder and reinstall it again and the error remains. I don't know what else I can do to resolve this error.
@Labsdj When I asked you to go into the "GameGuruMAX" folder, your next reply and shot shows the folder "GameGuruMAX-Backup", how did that folder name change?

@Labsdj I have created a new BETA branch CALLED "debugtest" (find it in your Steam product properties beta tab) that we can use for super-experimental builds such as the one I have just uploaded. It should pop up message boxes. If you snapshot the second messagebox that pops up with the card name on it, we can go from there :)

I think the error is when gameguru max applies the patch for amd with the file amdfix.ini it resets the dx11.dll file and the dxgi.dll in both folders these files contain error that gives in those logs I sent. With rx 6600 8gb graphics if I put the dll's of the DXVK from github which is for linux it opens without error but it gets dark screen. Both when I enter the menu to edit the game level and when I enter an example game that I already have in gameguru max.

@Labsdj From what I can make out, it seems the DXVK that the AMDFIX uses to solve the black screen issue may not be creating the device, and my guess is that this is because we need Vulkan 1.3 support. I found an older DXVK that only needed Vulkan 1.1. Can you extract these two files from the zip and overwrite the files at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GameGuru MAX", and then run MAX by running "GameGuruMAX.exe", and let me know what happens with a screenshot, thanks!

Not fixed again. I restart pc and back again the error bug
It was necessary for me to clean the driver and reinstall it, clean it, restarted the pc, retested and the error came back again, even with this last driver that came out today. Suspect is something about shaders or the cloud of steam. I need a miracle to make this work, I had a dazzle, I thought maybe I would have solved it and it didn't solve anything... @Labsdj Thanks for going through the tests, I think we learned a lot, even though our success was short-lived. If the process is getting on your nerves, my advice is to take a break from MAX for the moment, find something else to create with for a while, and decompress :) I have all the data I need now to find the root cause of this and create some useful advice on our FAQ page for the time being to help future MAX users. Thanks again for your help in producing this information.
P.S. At some future point, we may be moving the engine from DX11 to DX12 or Vulkan Native, at which time you will be able to run fine on AMD RX 6600 without needing DXVK.
