CINE GURU MAX

I bought cine guru max and have tried a lot with it. What a nice tool, especially the actor scripts! I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. Unfortunately the music function doesn't work for me in GAME GURU MAX Version 2023.11.28. Then I tried the same level with the same script with the experimental (beta) version: now the music is playing, but suddenly showwpn, hidewpn and switch no longer work...

As this is a DLC it is fine to post issues here, maybe Lee could chime in and let us know if there have been any engine changes weapons system related which may explain why those Lua functions may no longer work? The functions the actor script relies on are: HideEntityAttachment(e) and ShowEntityAttachment(e)

For the switch script issue check that you are adding the script reference to the actor script as described in the manual for the script you are attempting to switch to, Lua needs to know that it has to load in the new script and this is done with the 'require' line added to the actor script. Unfortunately there isn't really any way to automate this, or at least none that I know about!

I usually leave a comment on one of the Tanner Productions YouTube videos and they respond with help. Just like TGC devs, very friendly and helpful.

We do have a Cine|Guru discord for this and commenting on one of Scott's videos isn't really going to help when a) He is in Iceland (either working or shopping, not sure which) and b) I am the developer and am very unlikely to see a comment on his video!

Then let me say, I absolutely love CineGuruMax. I love the original one too. But the Max version is way more user friendly. Also Im having an issue since last GGMAX update: When creating standalone, the cameras all fall to ground level (even if thats under water) and all the markers are visible to the player.

I would go on Discord but Ugh. I cant stand Discord.

@Snake675 Is this still happening with the June Update? If so, check out the new September update out very soon!
