Web Server Not Loading #15

I followed the guide exactly, but when I run the curl command and put that ip in my browser, it just pops up saying failed to reach this site. Any reasons for this? Thanks for the help in advance!

Please use the Template for issues and be more specific. Add some Logs and such.

There aren’t any logs, the only one I get is when I run the curl command, which spits out my public ip. I’m running Ubuntu Server 18.04, just like the guide said. I ran the exact commands the guide said, and they all went through like they were supposed to. But, when I curl the server up, I go to the up in my browser but nothing loads up.

@Casey110405 Contact your Internet Service Provider, and learn how to Port Forward for your router.

You'll need to port forward TCP PORT 80.

-Why can't I use my Private IP? Solder needs to be able to connect to Technic, and the internet needs to be able to access your repository. If you made your own private version of Technic, it might work properly, but you need to learn a whole bunch about caching, and the likes.

-Why can't you just tell me how to port forward? Your router is most likely different from mine- I use a Hitron 4582-U provided by Rogers, something they specifically give out to customers with 100MBPS download or more, and it's different from the ignite routers, too.

-I don't have permission/want to contact my ISP/don't have a phone Lucky for you, many users before you probably port-forwarded on their own router. Ignoring all the Adware and popups, you can use https://portforward.com/router.htm to find the maker of your hardware, then the model of your router. These will most likely be put onto a sticker, so you won't have to do any crazy stuff like hacking into the router or breaking out a screwdriver.
