It's over? #361

5 months without any code changes, is there still hope or is it over?

Hugs.

Last contribution 26. June 2022 I think its over. I only hope that absence of github is a good sign for her. Maybe long walks in the woods or some sailing to the bahamas or such 😄

I switched today to Ferdium, opensource and in active maintenance. Can do CSS and JS and Sync, even over an own server. Looks promising. Hamsket was so good but in the end it crashed much too often and on Windows it was not anymore useable unfortunately. Ubuntu and Mac it still worked (with bugs but good enough) but I need a service for all systems (that is the main reason for apps like Hamsket). Thanks a lot and goodbye. frank

I'm also using Ferdium, but I found it quite heavy, and I didn't like its blocking settings. When it is blocked by password, it stops receiving messages and stops working, and when you unlock it, you have to wait for all windows to load

Apologies, as noted before on a previous issue, I'm disabled and have been having to deal with a lot of things I shouldn't have to, including now housing discrimination. It can be very difficult to have people treat me poorly for that in person, and can represent extreme hardship.

I can attempt some effort to make available updates and fixes, but I can't promise anything or read about what people have been saying. I'm trying to get more of my desktop functionality on the go (like programming), so if reasonable downtime occurs, I have the option to do things like log into github or commit code.

Sorry to hear that. Thank you so much for your contributions!

You don't have to apologize for not having time, your personal life comes first. You must be psychologically 10 times stronger than anyone here, and you're going to get past these assholes one more time. Strength my dear. Hugs...

Thank you for sharing this, I wish you all strength! With Hamsket you did for years a great job and gave us a lot of your time, I really appreciate it. Thank you for all that! Don't think you need to do more and more! Live your life that comes first! I hope you can fix your issues, I wish you luck!
