What should the graphical design and general layout of the interface be?

I think we could go al out on the hardcore nerd feel and roll with a Vim like look. Molokai

Using some cool darker colortheme. We could use the airline/powerline to display status like, current room,equipped weapon, health, level and university credits.

Since we are using modal input and vim is the superior editor i think this could be cool.
