If you hit G to uncarry your self, you wont be able to carry anyone anymore. You need to be carried, in order to be able to use carry again. You can also sleep at pillbox beds in order to fix it (it doesnt alwyas work by beds though). Getting carried always fixes it though. - Found by Nos Fair ( my friend ♥ )
