This is a much requested feature... Allow user to select several lines and display the total value somewhere on the screen..

I would happily do as an extension if I knew how to 'grab' selected register lines (like you can grab the selected account in the side bar).. Possible?

This feature is now in PREVIEW MD2021.2(3088+)
