Detailed explanation of your feature idea:
(Include any ideas you have regarding how to implement/code this feature,
if possible.)
Quite simple. Letting the person using this program with the tool enabled
examine what a stranger replied, the choose to either let it send, alter it
before sending or denying it altogether, thus blocking the message completely.
For when you wish to alter what strangers are saying to each other, but don't
really know what to alter before you see it.
The only issue would be the UI, which might get troublesome when strangers send
multiple messages. I imagine a small box appearing, one on either side of the
screen (one for each stranger), with the written text in it which you can
alter. Next to the box a check and cross button, for sending or blocking the
message. If a new message is sent from the same stranger it should appear below
the first one. I realize this might take up quite a lot of space if the chat is
being spammed, so might require a max number of visible posts and a scroll if
that number is reached.
Or alternatively creating this box at the place where the reply should
originally be, thus taking up the same amount of space as an ordinary chat
would, with the appropriate order of everything and all! (I just thought of
that while writing :3)
Cheers <3
