I would recommend extracting the details about the map from your main story and recording them as bullet points instead. The thing that you want the user to accomplish is the purpose of the story. For example:
I've omitted the "so that..." in the story above because that's something that you need to fill in. What's the reason that a User would want to view a list of Yoga Studios, either on a map or in a table? I could see some value in having a list of Studios curated by you with some content attached... a "professional review" or interview with the owners or instructors, maybe?
Where would you like to take this?
@al-the-x
I like the idea of having professional reviews and/or interviews from owners/instructors. I could offer a textarea below the map that references the studio marker with a comment from a user. I am just blocking as to how to go about it all. I guess I need to do more wireframing and planning to really solidify my focus.
I still don't see how this is a consistent idea or any kind of departure from your original prototype, which is very rough. Also, fully responsive ladies for your project should not be stretch goals, regardless of the project. That's something that an employer will want to know that you can do and should be a standard requirement for anything you build.
You also have some formatting issues with your issue description. Nesting can be tricky when you get too many levels deep. Try not to go past 3 by promoting top level bullets to headings.
Also still waiting to see some notes from your interviews and discussions with instructors and gym owners.
Finally, when you iterate like this, it's better to keep your original and add a new comment rather than overwriting an existing comment, so we can see the evolution of the idea and pick the best pieces.
