Active #104

Can we use the word enriched instead of active? It is best not to introduce new terminology if possible! For instance we need to redo the figure with the size distribution in mapping.rst.

hansenp commented 5 years ago

Yes, maybe we could change terminology but this always depends on the context. For the figure this enriched would probably better.

hansenp commented 5 years ago

I replaced active with enriched in the figure for the fragment size distribution. But the words active and inactive occur in many other places especially in the file prefix.count.stats.txt and the RTD of the count command.

I'm not sure whether it is a good idea to replace all occurrences for two reasons:

  1. Active and inactive are more general terms. Users might want to set digests to active other than enriched digests.
  2. I need to replace clauses like between active and inactive. I'm not sure what to use for inactive. Unenriched sounds strange.

@pnrobinson : any opinion/suggestions?

We could initially say "selected (enriched)" and "unselected", and just say selected/unselected throughout the text? @hansenp
