Since the latest post-beta2 upgrades to mastodon.social & mastodon.online there is no version number showing the advanced view on instances.social.
Possibly due to recent changes in versioning scheme: Change the pre-release versioning scheme and associated environment variables #26653 https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/26653
Current version on mastodon.social: v4.2.0-beta2+pr-26657-fdd14a0
As this is a recent change (yesterday), it could be a moving target for a bit. One to keep an eye on.
