I too am having this problem, did anyone find an answer?

I have the Kinect listed in my Device Manager.

I only downloaded ReconstructMeQT, should I also be downloading something else?

I was having this issue but figured out it was because ReMeQT was
"auto-selecting" the wrong calculation device.

As soon as the initialization window pops up, press "esc" and go into settings.
Uncheck "auto-select" and highlight your dedicated gpu.
Then, when it gets to sensor initialization it should start working properly--
at least that's what it did for me.

Comment 4 says:

But allways crashes before i can go into settings. Some command line or
parameters to fixit the auto-select check?

I have the same problem; I run the program and it breaks. I have also tried to
uncheck the "auto-select", but it still occurs; any suggestions to resolve the
issue?
